The reception log (visitor log)

The reception log replaces the paper reception notebook. It lets you record each incoming request, track it through to completion and link it to an existing contact if needed.

Record a visit

  • In the menu, click Reception → Visitor log → New visit.
  • Visitor name (required), Phone and Email (optional).
  • Reason: Baptism, Wedding, Mass, or Other.
  • Free note (context, specific request…).
  • Priority: tick if the request is urgent (visual highlight in the list).
  • Link to a contact: if the person is in your directory, attach the visit to their existing contact.
  • Click Save.

Process a visit

  • From the list, click on the visit.
  • Once the request has been handled, click Mark as processed.
  • The visit moves to Processed status and changes colour in the list.

Archive and restore

  • A processed visit can be archived to remove it from the main view.
  • Visits in the trash are kept for 90 days before automatic deletion.
  • To find an archived visit, go to Reception → Archives.
