Validate an intention and generate the receipt
Validation confirms the intention, assigns a receipt number and creates the corresponding accounting entry. This guide details this step and receipt management.
Validate an intention
- From the list or the intention record, click Validate.
- A receipt number is automatically assigned (e.g.
INT-2026-0118). - The payment status is automatically switched to Paid.
- A mass intention accounting entry is created.
- If an email is provided, the receipt is automatically sent as an attachment.
View or re-download the receipt
- From the validated intention record, click View receipt.
- The PDF opens in a new tab.
- The receipt is frozen on first generation: subsequent views always retrieve the same document.
Edit an intention after validation
Once validated, only certain fields remain editable: the intention text, the assigned mass, internal notes and the celebration status. Financial fields are frozen once the receipt has been generated.
If a financial correction is needed after the receipt is generated, you must cancel the intention and duplicate it (see the Cancel and correct article).
